JSW Steel Taps John Cockerill for ₹300 Crore Khopoli Expansion

JSW Steel Coated Products Limited has awarded a major engineering and equipment contract to John Cockerill India Limited for its Khopoli facility.

The project involves the design, manufacturing, and supply of a Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL#3), along with supervision of erection and commissioning. The scope also includes comprehensive commissioning support for the new line.

The contract is valued at approximately ₹300 crore.

This order enhances John Cockerill India’s position in the industrial equipment and steel processing space, while enabling JSW Steel Coated Products to expand its production capabilities at the Khopoli plant.
